The Family Strengths and Needs Toolkit and Practitioner Guidance

(previously known as the Somerset Neglect Toolkit)

To complement the South West Child Protection Procedures (SWCCP) chapter, Somerset Safeguarding Children Partnership have produced a toolkit with local supplementary information and a useful practitioner guidance document. The Family Strengths and Needs Toolkit should always be used in conjunction with the SWCPP procedures.

Following requests by practitioners, the Family Strengths and Needs Toolkit summary sheet is available as a separate document which can be downloaded, completed and saved.
